Adhering to the checklist

I think the difference between a “Read and Do” checklist and a “Challenge and Response” checklist is probably self-explanatory. The bigger the aircraft, the more motors and systems you are dealing with, the more extensive the checklists become. When you fly single pilot in a small aircraft, you probably don’t have much use for a “Challenge and Response” type of checklist, especially if you are flying solo, HAHA.

And when the aircraft is big enough to fly airline work, we then add Tasks and Flows to the entire process as well. The airlines just love those flows. Flows are what it’s all about… not that Chuck would know the difference.
