Haven’t we seen this one? I think it’s on the download I have on my iPod. Still good, and Chuck will be put in his place.

WE had a guy at the first FBO I worked at who only lied when his mouth opened and words came out. He claimed to have a Stearman with a Hawker engine … we think he had seen the belly mounted jet on a Waco by Franklin for his air shows but didn’t know the difference between the biplanes. He kept us entertained with getting caught in his claims by pilots who flew in. And yes, he once claimed ownership of a plane to the pilot who was flying the plane. We worked week on week off and the plane arrived on the weekend before he worked. When the pilot came in he looked out on the ramp and commented on the “Cool looking paint job on that plane out there” and the fool stepped in to claim he ordered it that way. Then the pilot acted like he never seen one of those models before (it was an RV6 iirc) and let him dig deeper and deeper.

On the other hand, even if he did figure it out before talking, that is some good tactics. Now she’ll just have to prove him wrong on both counts, and while the first one is trivial the second one would be a challenge considering that it’s true.

not at all, she could just be a Chuck hater, sort of an instant dislike in his case

Following her shirt’s color I guess the red baroness will strike back!
