Smooth as a baby’s bottom
I know this is totally off topic, but I have recently been renovating one of the kids’ rooms and in the process tried to plaster some walls for the first time. Boy oh boy, did I ever misjudge the difficulty of this task! To be honest, I always misjudge the amount of work and time for home improvement projects, otherwise I would never get started, I guess. But that was a new experience! Needless to say, the surface did NOT end up smooth as a baby’s bottom, but rather similar to one of Chuck’s landings. With some improvisation and “post production” i managed to get it halfway decent looking though.
But I certainly have learned a lot! Next time I do this, I’ll be able to produce better results. But on the other hand… next time I’ll hire a pro, haha! Before plastering, I scratched off some really clingy wall paper, which took me forever. Never mind all the work to set up and clean up etc. … I’m happy I’m not a construction worker, because I am already run ragged and I’m not even done with the paint job yet. Anyway! That’s one of the reasons our uploads are always later than Tuesday, recently.
Cheers and good night from good old Austria!

Yet another firewall to replace for Julio (with that type of landings, it’s the weak point of the C172). I’m sure he knows how to do it well now….
