Belt loader III

Well, we knew it wasn’t going to take long before Chuck found a way to use the new equipment for his own entertainment rather than its intended purpose. My favorite part of this comic is the progression of items finding their way onto the belt loader, starting with the bottle cap. I think Julio caught on to what is happening just in time 😉
It is probably a good thing we didn’t have a belt loader either at the flight school I used to work at early in my career (where “Roost Air was invented) as there were many characters like Chuck and Julio working there just like me. I am sure we would have found all kinds of ways to play with such equipment as well. We were pretty lucky actually that there was no social media back in those days. Otherwise almost all of us probably wouldn’t have found other jobs in aviation. But boy, did we have fun. So many fond memories…

I have question. Is Roost Air located in a real life airport? If so, what’s it called?

I see a petunia bowl : i should expect a spermwhale falling down nearby anytime soon 🙂

No surprise at a company like Roost Air to see the legally mandated safety clothing (shoes, gloves, helmet…) not being strictly imposed – even with a guy like Chuck around.

@ The Oldest Tiger: Roost Air is sort of kinda based near the coast in Southern California. The airport is a combination of several airports there but if I had to pick one, I’d say Camarillo Airport (KCMA) in the early nineties…
