Screaming Chicken? I thought it was a Phoenix?
Great guest-posts in this topic
It can often be hard if one doesn't know the person in question to judge what his/her oppinion is so when someone reads such a really detailed analysis and fault-finding for a movie that's normally just entertainment then it can often be misunderstood that they didn't understand the true meaning but many people, including myself can see some fun in checking details without it ruining the movie for us, and of course also seeing it in contrast to what the purpose of the movie is, that's something one has to take into consideration, was it meant to be blasting entertainment, an authentic drama or just wacky? Top Gun is the first, Hot Shots the later and both are great fun imho, although Tom Cruises attitue lately is ruining it when I see his movies.
In the new version of Gone In 60 Seconds for instance it's a Chrysler startermotor when Eleanor is started, not a Ford-starter like all Mustang's Ford or Shelby has. The only real GT500 was however the one used for the sound, temporarily fitted with a x-flow sidepipe exhuast like the one displayed, but not used, on the several Eleanor moviecars. And when Memphis restarts Eleanor after she stalls after the floodcontrol scene, the one with the A-Star, then he's only using one hand although he needed two for the two tools used to activate the ignition lock originally but it's just a movie. I don't want to boost cars after seeing it, I do however want to drive and be around good responsible car-enthusiasts however.
Speaking of aviation action movies on this forum we've covered Top Gun, Hot Shots, Always, Fire Storm and Airwolf, but what about Blue Thunder?
