42, but I think they just got it out of a novel.

Isn't that refering to a little known tv show, as well as movie now, "The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galexy"...

Ah.  Haven't seen that one yet, but it's on my Netflix list.

You really should read the 5 book Trilogy first.

A Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster to undatc... but remember, 8 days, bottle to throttle.

Yep, but it's getting a little threadbare.
I guess I need to find another hotel...

I knew a lot of people who read the books but didn't like the movie because of "inconsistancies"

I thought the movie was great.

Careful about that improbability drive though...
"Well I know what's right, I got just one life
In a world that keeps on pushin' me around
But I stand my ground, and I won't back down"

If they didn't like the inconsistancies, they shouldn't have liked the books - since they took liberties with the BBC TV series, and that took liberties with the original Radio Broadcasts.....  And I understand Douglas Adams wanted to make more changes yet.  He liked that the radio show, tv series, and books were different.

Finally, even if you have your towel, you need to remember to bring some peanuts, too.

...and beer.

As for any consistency problems... you can blame it all on the Infinite Improbability Drive.

Right!  --- Oh, and I forgot, you might need some Tea for the dangly bits... ;)

Or, something not quite entirely unlike tea...
