Pre-eclampsia may develop at varying times within pregnancy and its progress differs between patients; most cases present pre-term. It has no known cure apart from ending the pregnancy (induction of labor or abortion). It may also present up to 6 weeks post-partum. It is the most common dangerous complication of pregnancy, and it may affect both the mother and the fetus.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pre-eclampsia
Thanks, folks.
::knockedout::
Haven't slept much in the last couple days.
WOW what a tiny little angel ::angel:: (compared to that bear paw next to her)Yeah, when one is that small then a Cessna 150 must be like a Jumbojet :D
We'll keep all 3 of you in our thoughts, and CONGRATULATIONS |:)\
Hey Jim!
How is little Zoe doing? Any news? And is Mrs. Velo already back home? We're still keeping our fingers crossed for all of you!!
It's hard to type with your fingers crossed, you know. ;)
That's good news!! I'm happy to hear that!! :) :)It's hard to type with your fingers crossed, you know. ;)
Hehe, it barely makes a difference when you're using the so called "eagle technique" (circling with you finger above the keyboard until you find the right key and then strike). ;D
Another surprise:
Since Zoe was doing so darned well at the hospital, they kicked her out today.
This is about three weeks before we'd planned, but she had other plans.... kinda like
with her birth.
So, we're sitting in the living room, watching Serenity and feeding her. Lucy and Twizzler
have been banished to the back yard until we get things sorted out here. They ain't happy...
but ah well.
Another surprise:Cool, it's always great to hear good news from good people :) |:)\ Btw, those two other names, they're the dogs right? (my memory is a bit strained lately due to bad sleep).

River was a prodigy, incredibly intelligent and very good at anything she tried, including dancing.
The government trapped her in a 'school', where they turned her into a weapon.
Some of her mental abilities, with some exposure to some highly-placed folks from the parliament,
caused her quite a lot of difficulty.
I've been a Browncoat for a little over a year, and I'd suggest to anyone that they watch the
series first (available on Amazon.com) before watching the movie. You could easily tell the folks
'in the know' from everyone else after watching the movie. It's my favorite show.

You didn't happen to name your daughter Zoe after the character off Serenity? ::)
What she said!
And Serenity rocks too. ;)
You'll either adapt to sleep deprivation or have a nervous breakdown.
Oh, the nervous breakdown, definitely. Let me know when you start hallucinating.
Hey.... I wanna come live at YOUR house. :o
Have they told you the meaning of life yet?
Hahaha, I wonder how many will get where that answer comes from.Have they told you the meaning of life yet?
42, but I think they just got it out of a novel.

Ah. Haven't seen that one yet, but it's on my Netflix list.
A 5 book trilogy?;)
Ah yea, and so long and thanks for all the fish!
PS, remember to bring your towel.
...and beer.
As for any consistency problems... you can blame it all on the Infinite Improbability Drive.

Right! --- Oh, and I forgot, you might need some Tea for the dangly bits... ;)
Jim, it's hard to think of a pithy comeback when you don't post anything.
Zoe's reached about 6.5 lbs (about 3kg) and is hale 'n hearty. She's letting me know how well her lungs work right now, and telling me it's about lunchtime. Gotta go see to that. :)
Never mind the pithy comebacks----I been gone fer a while, looks like Zoe is growing to more than chicken winglet size and is doing very well (just look at them BIG brown eyes) on what Mama is providing for nourishment. I'm glad things are peachy.
Saw Eric's humor here too---how's things Baudet these days Erik---doing any flying? If you're cold just remember the skeeters don't arrive till after spring thaw.
Had some days in Jan. and Feb. that were cold enough to suspend flight operations. I've been doing some flying with students and a smattering of photography ops for the locals. One of my students has to quit for 3 months because he's opening his lodge for the summer next month and needs to stay up there constantly.
I apparently waited too long to talk to the guy with the fire contract, so I'll only be a back-up for the Baudette route this year. I'm not sure how he'll justify paying someone else to fly back and forth from Park Rapids every day, when he could just base the plane here and have me fly it. It's an extra hour each way in a 172. ::loony::
The lake is starting to open up. Someone put a 3/4 ton pickup through the ice the other day (in only 6 feet of water) on Four-Mile Bay. The river is starting to thaw, as well -- we had 4 feet of ice on it after that cold snap. It's open shore to shore up river from the airport about 10 miles. Won't take long for the rest to break up. The fishing is picking up again as the walleye move back towards the lake. Mosquito season will soon be upon us.
How's foggy N. Cali?
Haven't been there in a few months, but our cable comes out of Fargo, so we get all the ND news that I pretty much don't pay attention to because I don't live there. This area of the state is like the bastard child that no one pays attention to until something really bad happens. But, we have great tourist destinations.
What are they saying about flooding this year in GFK?
Did you get a bike?
Come on up. Hope you like to fish. If not, we have a very nice state park, a few good eateries (mostly at the resorts), and an awesome airport. ;)

I like to stay inside at -20F. I know the airplane would probably be ok, but if we have a problem, it's a long walk to anywhere at -20.OOPS, sorry but I misssed your reply and question------2 hours on the ground anytime then 3 plus hours in the air (gotta wait for sometimes for NASTY weather over the Sierras) @ 55 bucks an hour (plus the airplane, of course) Mountain flying in IMC combined.
Jim, that sounds like an interesting course. How much?
That would be a good course!!Wear your Groucho glasses, heck, I'd never know who it was
If I find a disguise, could I sign up?!?! :D
I don't mean to 'jack the thread (ahem)...
Zoe's still doing well, and here's a pic I took of her this past weekend.

Oh my... Velo, your little girl is a bit younger than my two, but she sure is a cutie pie! ::bow::::rofl:: wow that was a totally excellent joke! And a sad truth :D
Just remember this about child rearing: We spend the first two years of their lives teaching them to walk and talk. Then we will spend the next 16 years or so telling them to Sit Down and Shut UP!!! ::banghead:: ::banghead:: ::banghead:: ::banghead::
Ugh. Thanks for reminding me, chicken trucker.
I just posted this video on Google.

Getting Zoe ready for church this evening (well, Zoe and Mrs V... I don't do the whole church thing)
What doesn't come through... I think... is that Mrs V was having to wrestle with Zoe to get her dressed.
And, as you can see, Zoe was in her element.
