I think I prefer the idea of a cut shurt than a drop in the drink so to speak (the danish prince was thrown into a kiddie-pool, another documentary on danish fighterpilots in USA showed just a bucket of water over the face though). I especially like it if I can use a spare t-shirt since after a first flight then I think that T-shirt would be a bit sweaty and therefore writting probably wouldn't last very well.

I kinda defer back to FlyBoyGil's idea---if you're going to get wet anyway...why not go for the "beer dousing and strippers"......
