Hows about both ? It looks cool - but it's stupid to risk your life

It has nothing to do with aviation, but I just came back home from an evening out, and I saw one really curious (and sad actually) thing.
I was walking with my friends on the road, and a couple was kissing. the kind of kiss you would see in a love story. Mates, as soon as they were over, the man made a 180 degrees and went away, fast paced, and the woman was crying!!!!! Since I was nowhere near a parking, or an airport or a train station, I would presume that he left the woman. but - hell - if it were the case, I'd like better to split via SMS!!!  ;) ;D >:( ;D :D >:(

I had a girlfriend that broke up with me via e-mail.  Not cool.

Not really, I agree with you. it happened to me via email, and confirmation came via SMS. but I'm quite sure I like these two option still more than a scene with an incredibly romantic kiss and and adieu 30 seconds after: the option looks too much tragic/comic to be held into account.   >:( :(

wow...email..... that sucks!

Over the phone seems to be the best option then after reading all this.
You can talk about it, argue, cry, but you don't have to do the heartbreaking "last kiss" or hug or whatever it shall be.
I have broken up and got broken up with over the phone a lot.

Email is better then the time I walked into a bar to see my girlfriend hanging all over my brother-in-law and having her announce to me and the whole bar that she "had been meaning to tell" me! >:( >:(
Glad that's history---been married 20 years :)
Wouldn't want to do the dating thing again, ever.

Wow, that way looks like a nightmare  :( . it's never easy to split, but it seems that some people are good at creating the "all-but-comfy" atmosphere!

When people brake up with me and send me a SMS or E-mail, i ignore the e-mail, march to their house and demand that they say it to my face.Because i don't like SMSs or E-mail brakeups....they are STUPID and only show your cowardly nature.

He He ... ;D

That's something to keep in mind: If you must break up, do it in a bar so the broke-up-one can get drunk at least....

Hehe! well, if we look this perspective, the bar is a good idea, okay. but not in front of everybody, not with everybody understanding/listening to what's going on......it would be too embarassing.   >:(
@ Flyingblind: I think yours is the right approach, I applaud your modus operandi: I currently think that it is surely the best thing to be done. But I'm not sure it's about cowardly nature, the fact of choosing the mail or the SMS. I assume it's just to avoid any rethinking and any tragic/comic scene as - for example - the one I had seen some weeks ago.
