Cool pictures, I wish I could've seen it in person. That's the new C-130J we've gotten btw.
It was training for landing on improvised runways when a paved one long enough isn't available for humanitarian transports, it was done on Blokhus in northern Juttland (the peninsula in the western part of the country). A Hercules from the Royal Air Force also participated in the training event.

The danish navy-ship overflown in the bottom picture btw is Vædderen (The Ram) that have just completed a around-the-world expedition with the Galathea III team.
