I've just had the opportunity to become a volunteer at a not so local aviation museum on the site of the former R.A.F Montrose on the east coast here in Scotland. Went up yesterday and helped out to arrange two new displays. It's only a small museum but as you go through the estate you are surrounded by the original buildings from 1913. They have two replica aircraft they built themselves (BE2C and a Sopwith Camel) along with a DH Vampire Trainer and a Gloster Meteor T7. they are currently restoring a Miles Hawk (which turned into the Magister in R.A.F service with additions), a Avro Anson in long term restoration and other pieces in their collection related to the R.A.F and to Montrose. Recently they have been gifted a cut away Hawker Hunter and looking to get Panavia Tornado for their collection. And yes they have a Spitfire, a Mark Vb, but it's a fibreglass replica
