Try Atlanta Hartsfield  (ATL / KATL).   ;)

At least all the Atlanta runways are paralell!

This is also known as a controller melt down.....

I listened to this like 4 times, everytime it gets more funny for me.  These things arent supposed to happen.  From what it sounds like the Russian guy cut a buncha people off snd screwed up the flow and the GC had to spin everyone.

Well, Atlanta is easy-goer on terms of logical build of taxi system, I have bigger problems at LKPR (PRG) which is about 3-4 times smaller :)

For Europe, if you want mess, go for LFPG (CDG), that is just... well... chaos. I would oly agree to fly there in RL when I know I have a born french-speaker by my side with his headset on...

btw. russian pilots other than Aeroflot and maye Sibir S7 are of those less language profficient - they are able to say Rozresite na pasadku instead of asking clearance to land - after whole flight down from leaving Russia was held in english - just because they have no idea :)

I am sorry Chris, but but no way the guy in Canadian, or so was the CS like, is Ruskie.

And yes, IB is Spain.

Eh, yes, my style of saying things :)

The very first guy that sounds to you Russian is not Russian, believe me. And I think he has callsign with Canada something or so.

That's not "Canada."  Sounds like CAM or TAM to me.

There is an airline out of Brazil with a "TAM" callsign.

Please also note that using an airline to determine nationality of a pilot is pointless these days.  While it can help give an idea, it does not tell you anything for certain.   We have a Nowegian captain at my airline, and we're a domestic US carrier that only operates in Alaska.  We'll hear American pilots with Hong Kong or other foreign carriers as well.

Saying that "it can't be a Russian because I think the call sign is Canadian" these days just doesn't work.  He sounds like the Aeroflot guys we hear periodically up here, and I can tell you that he sounds nothing like the Canadian pilots I hear (we also had a Canadian captain).   Besides, if he was Canadian, every transmission would end in "eh"  (ok, really bad joke).

The first pilot definately has an Eastern European accent.  Maybe not russian, but possiably Ukranian, or something.

In any case, I don't feel so bad about some of my performances at controlled airports!
