China unvails 'world's largest seaplane'

China's state-run news agency Xinhu announced that the amphibious AG600 is about the size of a Boeing 737 and will be used to fight forest fires and perform marine rescue operations.

That's big... but still not the largest seaplane.   Maybe the biggest PRODUCTION seaplane though.

Because it hasn't gone into service yet.  They just finished the airframe and it hadn't even flown.
