I was thinking along the lines of a Sikorsky, well spotted! But, AEG? As in the company that now manufactures powertools?

Yeah, in the early 20th century the've been making planes and cars in addition to all kinds of electrical stuff.
At first I thought that it was some British plane, when I accidentally came across the AEG . . .

It is not Sikorski (if anyon was referring to my heli) but it is fairly similar. Seeing the outside of helicopter first time i was also thinking since when did Sikorskis fly for eastern armys :)

I guess it's my turn now.
I think this one is quite hard, so there's a hint for you. Of course, you may try without . . .
Hint: It's a prototype, the final version looks waaay different

That's negative, I found that picture while looking for Fabo's nose.
Maybe that one helps, but, to be honest, if I didn't know what it is, I'd have NO idea where to start looking.

Gilly, I believe that one is a Piaggio fighter but I do not know the model number.  How far off the mark am I?

Fabo, Igor Sikorski was a very famous Russian airplane designer who built some huge aircraft for both the Tsarist (I think) and Soviet governments before he fled the country in the 1930's to escape arrest and death in Stalin's gulags.  Mr Sikorski then settled in the USA where his new company perfected the Helicopter and turned it from a dream into a practical machine.

Gilly, BTW...  I believe the Helo in the rear view mirror is a Twin Cobra helicopter and not an Apache.

I dont think it is Zlin. Both 143 and 242 that are in production now are just further development of previous 142 and 43. Hardly there would be prototype fo that sort.
