even more interesting: how do you land this thing? can the pilot even see over it's nose?
The key is the PIC relies on peripheral vision during a full-stall landing. That might be a challenge with a big flying boat, but it wouldn't be insurmountable.
[ Just pick a big body of water... you can pick a much much longer and wider "runway."
I forgot -- what Champs have pilots sitting in the back seat??!? They were designed to put the pilot in the front -- one of their best traits (and selling points) compared to a Cub.... ??
