Yup that's the one. A venturi Tube fuselage. Ugly as heck.
Ducted Fan...Please!

Nope, it's a venturi tube fueselage. It has a regular proppellor, and the inside is shaped like a venturi tube

Here's the website  http://www.airbornegrafix.com/HistoricAircraft/ThingsWings/StipaCaproni.htm

That's a Cri-Cri, if I recall correctly.

While an answer for DuctedFan/VenturiFuselage comes, I don´t know if this is a small airplane ::whistle:: or a Lawn Mower...must be for local flights to the store! ::rofl:: ::rofl:: ::rofl::

DonYan ::wave::

That would be a Cri Cri, french in nature if im not mistaken..

Zeppelin, d'oh, I hadn't thought of that. But thanks for posting it, I love expanding my knowledge on things (except the bad things, which I why I don't care for the tv news anymore).

If you got other oddities then by all means post them, it's both fun and educating  |:)\

I have no idea what the french-looking plane is (is a bi-plane? I can't quite tell if it's a shadow at the bottom or not, especially since there doesn't appear to be cross-braces).

The aircraft picture I posted is a biplane, and as a hint, it was built in the United States.  No, there are no cross braces.
