OK...still filling out my Ipod "flying" playlist....here are some more

Dreams - Van Halen
Right Now - Van Halen
Fly Away - Lenny Kravitz
"The Air Force Song" (Wild Blue Yonder)
What a Wonderful World - Louis Armstrong (great for a long cross country)
Flight of the Bumblebee- Rimsky-Korsikov  (I think this would be great trying to land a 152 in a stiff crosswind)
UP, UP and Away - the 5th Dimension

and....

Hot for Teacher - Van Halen (for those lucky enough to have a femaile CFI)   ;)
"I reject your reality and substitute my own" - Adam Savage, Mythbusters

My personal favorite is

"Addicted to Tumblin'" by Tim Weber
http://www.timweber-airshows.com/site.html

Other favorites are:

"Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum (also covered by others)
"Danger Zone" by Kenny Loggins
"One Vision" by Queen
"Hide in the Rainbow" by Dio
"Where Eagles Fly" by Van Halen/Sammy Hagar
"Dreams" by Van Halen/Sammy Hagar
"Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf
"Fly Away" by Lenny Kravitz
"Iron Eagle" by King Kobra
"Ride of the Valkyries" by Wagner (yes I listen classical as well as hard rock!)

Now if you want to know what my favorite music is when I'm flying/flying/driving I could just send a copy of my iTunes playlists :P
The average pilot, despite the sometimes swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring. These feelings just don't involve anyone else.

Hahaha, the first I thought when you posted that was the Airplane sequence with Stryker dancing to the sped-up version of Stayin' Alive, and that would also make that song flying-related :D

Here's another one, from Iron Eagle, King Cobra, appearently the official music video however using a early japanese anime for the video, still aviation related however. Appearently it's called Area 88 although someone mentioned the title U.N. Squadron and I remember an Amiga game from the late 80s or early 90s where a character had that hair-style over the eyes so maybe one is an alternative title but the same story?
