Hey Nick... Are you anywhere near Athens? My Company's Challenger 601 is flying there next week. If you are and see a Bombardier Challenger 601 with the tail number N79AN http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0577604/L/ thats one of the birds I have to keep clean.

Brian

Well, it's a 3 hour drive + 1 to the airport and my car won't handle it anyway. But if one of you comes to Greece you never know, I might do it  ::wave::
It's all Greek to me!

And it's time to think about getting back into the survey / research world...

A typical-looking installation...

::wave:: Hey Guys!
Nice Pics Gill!
Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do... I haven't had much time on the forum lately...  ::sweat::
So, here's a couple of pictures of my cubical at work (where I've been spending wayyyyyyy tooooo much time!). A few of my favorite comics makes the day go much better!!!!

Ohhh! I just noticed that this is my 50th post (k, I know... it's not that big of a deal but I'm not a newbie any more) :)

NICE CUBICAL Piper Girl!!

I love it!  ::bow:: |:)\

I was going to post a few pics too but my laptop broke and the loaner doesn't have any graphics programs to minimize the pic to a "postable" size....  :'(

Saturday I flew my newly-overhauled Arrow (TSMO 15 hours) to Oshkosh for the third time in a month. The reason this time: chili! My friend who has a house and hangar on the field was hosting the fall chili event for the local EAA chapter and invited me to partake. Last year they were wearing jackets and hovering around the portable heater, this year we were sweating in shorts like it was still Airventure in July! Weaved around some fair weather cumulus on the way up, parked on my friend's ramp next to his Sonex. Flew home at night... sorry my cheapass camera won't do good night shots with anything that moves.

Thanks!

New prop is supposed to arrive in a week or so. I wasn't planning on replacing it but a hub AD requires recurrent inspections, a new hub, or a new prop. Half off on a new prop= buy new prop. The engine is still using about double normal oil burn, but this should get better as it breaks in. GPS upgrade (half off if done by September 1) still has some issues, but it's usable at this point. Once everything's done I'll have no money left for gas! That said, it's such a relief not to be flying on an old, tired, leaky engine any more. Happy happy joy joy!
