Is this for real, or Fake. It looks fake to me. The aircraft is way too small, in this pic, and I think aircraft carriers aren't big enough. What think?

Hehehe...

Apart from the other reasons it wouldn't be real.... that plane in real life couldn't even be placed on an aircraft carrier deck by a crane.  You're talking about an aircraft larger than a 747.

The wing span would take out the con tower.  The cloest thing I could equate this to, would be the B29 launching off carrier during WWII.  I think thats about the biggest thing they've used on one, correct me if im wrong here, thou I spose I could call my father, he was on the CV 66 America for 15 years or so.

That's a huge plane to come off a carrier, been next to one in Tillimook.

Yeah, no lie.  The one and only photo I saw of one rotating off a carrier gave me shivers.   |:)\

You were just looking for an excuse to use that picture weren't you?   :D

Don't like that one?  Try this one.  From some guy's roof:

Baradium is right---it was a B-25, preciseness is paramount in aviation, even if you are just flying  a tower......Oh Dear!---am I being churlish again?  ;)

In his defense... he was very precise...  just not accurate.  ;)

Here's another picture of my mom's new handicap-car, this time where we still live on the island. For those that know my history, that house there is where my oldest uncle lived until he died of a suddent heart attack just two weeks after we moved over from Odense.

I'm really tired and only just woke up after having slept most of the last 24 hours but I'll post some more in the forum later and maybe check out the chat if I have energy for some longer conversations, take care  ::wave::

Frank

P.S. To my knowledge some of the physically biggest aircraft to land and take-off from a carrier was the Tomcat and the Vigilante, both great planes in my opinion.
Rememeber the movie Cannonball Run II, the scene with the Sheik (played by Jamie Farr aka Klinger from the M*A*S*H tv-series (a fact I didn't notice until many years after I'd seen both hahaha)) there was a scene where he's racing with the doctor (Mr. Jack Elam) and the sheik gets a phonecall and he says "Nimitz? What's a Nimitz? Aaahhhh, the USS Nimitz, yes I want to buy it, I want to land my 747's on it!"
