Just had to throw this out here.  That last quarter was amazing, thought for sure the game was over when Dallas set up for that 1 yard kick. ::unbelieveable:: ::unbelieveable:: ::unbelieveable::

Now, for the Giants to lose tonight, and we get to play the Saints, and then..... NFC CHAMPIONS AGAIN, after one more win. ::unbelieveable:: ::unbelieveable::

I watched the geam at the bar and agree with you about the end ::silly:: ::silly::  A wins a win though.  Maybe we'll even be lucky enough to win the super bowl this year.

It's so awesome to see a Dallas QB cry.  Not that I'm a huge Seattle fan, but I really hate the Cowboys. 

Speaking of football, this was a final Jeopardy answer the other day.  (paraphrased)

In 194?, this team decided to pay homage to a famous Western hero, rather than be called the "Nickels".

I was thinking the answer had a year in the '40's, but I couldn't remember the exact year.  Could have been the 60's, too, though.  CRS and all that.

Seems like a bunch of teams got their start in the 1960's.  I did a wiki lookup on the Bill's to see when they chose their name.  The team started in 1960 or so, and won a couple of AFL championships, 1964 and 1965.  But the wiki doesn't mention anything about nickels! ::cowboy::

Eric, I'd love to say that I knew the answer but actually, I looked it up---still sitting with cast on, foot elevated, (GRRRR!--driving me nuts!) so I've got time to look up anything ::type::
