DENVER AND THE MILE HI CLUB
« on: December 31, 2006, 07:09:48 AM »
EGADS!  ::silly:: It just occurred to me that well over 90% of Denver residents belong to the mile high club |:)\---I'm not sure how I feel about that but it is ::thinking:: thought provoking.
OOPS- gotta go, I hear the nurse coming with my medications ::drinking::

Hmmm, let me guess, it's because Denver is over 1 mile over sealevel? I almost thought this was more spam until I saw it was you who posted it.

I think the trick here is AGL.  ;)

Come on, as someone raised in Denver, it never said anything about AGL.

Actually Mike, I think we touched on some of those stories a while back so I'll just say there are almost too many distractions, an autopilot preferred, and I've always used MSL as a reference ::whistle::

there are grounded aircraft in Denver, so even that argument doesn't hold a great deal of water.  Hell, a friend's dad owned a Cessna 310, sat in a hanger at Centennial Airport.  Hmmm...

Listen, if a couple can manage the deed on Denvers runway today, I'll personally fly out and give them the Mile High certificate while they warm up their little tooshies ::bow::
