Gulfstream's Trombone
« on: October 06, 2006, 01:05:41 PM »
OK fellow aviation enthusiasts,
We got us a new topic, how many of you are musically inclined ?  Gulfstream Driver has confessed to the trombone.  |:)\
Is there a correlation between aviation and musical creativeness ?
I used to play bass baritone, ukelele, guitar, banjo, drums, and piano----my singing voice however, leaves a lot to be desired ! :-\

I used to play the piano when I was a kid and then again 10 years ago or so....

I don't even know how many instruments my brother plays.... but it's more than two.....

I played the trumpet through middle school but had more important things to do once I got to high school.
WOW I did that!

Don't everybody laugh at once...

I took accordian for a while.  I took piano, too.  I'm still trying to get the hang of those black and white keys.  I play the computer and DVD player pretty well, though.

That sounds a bit like me as well. I tried guitar in Jr. high but it didn't go well. too bad since I am a music aficionado. Not to mention that my dad was a professional musician in his younger days and my Mom was trained as an operatic singer (soprano) and with those genes, you'd think that I could play something....... NOPE. I couldn't carry a tune in a C-5.

The average pilot, despite the sometimes swaggering exterior, is very much capable of such feelings as love, affection, intimacy and caring. These feelings just don't involve anyone else.

Tenor clarinet and alto saxophone in elementary and middle school. Got too interested in chicks and hunting in high schools and never picked either back up.

We could get a trombone choir together at the training camp.  I hear a polka song coming on.
