Stop and smell the engines

You don't get much of that "hot oil and AvGas"-smell when flying gliders, except for the occasional tow-plane, which is a sweet scent, indeed. But there is that special smell inside the cockpit of a tube-and-fabric airframe or of the freshly cut grass runway and the BBQ and beer after a good day of flying (is there any other kind?).
It's only Monday and I miss it already.
