Hi Everybody!

We TOTALLY neglected the forum last week. We were way too busy.....

I think it really captures a sense of what goes on at Oshkosh for the ones of you who couldn't make it. I wish we thought of making a slideshow ourselves. Maybe later or next year.

Also, can you guys name all the planes in this slide show!? ? ?

Is that a challenge to all those who take part in the "name that?" thread Mike?  ;D >:D

Ok so far I have: Neuport 17, N/A P(F)-51 D Mustang, A P-40E Hawk, Texan/Harvard/SNJ-3, A-26 Invader, C-46, DC-3/C-47,Fury,DC-10/Tri-Star?,Boeing/Kaydet Stearman,Cub,P-39 Lightning,P-51B not sure of the other one. Hows that for 1:14 into that video?

In this pic at Oshkosh, Stef and I are trying to recreate Chuck and Julio and their smiles.
We even put on the right color shirt for this one. (notice me with sunglasses, Stef with Julio's hat....)

Sorry Ian,  A DC-10 is not a TriStar.  The TriStar is the official nickname for the Lockheed L-1011.

I always get those two mixed up that's why I had the question mark lol and there where a few others I was not sure about near the start.

The L-1011 tristar is the one that looks like it was designed to have 3 engines.   The DC-10 is the one that doesn't (because it originally was supposed to be a twinjet).

Check out the folks in the red ball caps in my EAA chapter's daily lunch rendezvous at the brown arch-- Mike, Stefan and Heidi joined us for lunch!

(No chicken was consumed at this get-together... unless it was... there were too many people present and I don't remember since it's been a couple of weeks now... so, okay, it's POSSIBLE that chicken was consumed at this get-together... but I don't really know. Never mind.)
