Sales video.

Prism Defence is a helicopter ship integration company selling equipment to governments and companies.
The equipment is used on the helicopter and the ship to coordinate the landing motion and minimize the ships movement.
This sales video would be using test pilots who do this often to impress the brass.

Still, a nice smooth touchdown.

are you saying the ship smoothed out there briefly for the helo to land because of some stabilzation equipment in the boat?
that would be pretty impressive as well....

Prism is responsible for the development of Ship Helicopter Operating Limits.

This involves safely taking the helicopter to the edge of the envelope; that is, the point at which more extreme conditions would make the aircraft unsafe to fly. The limits are based on a combination of environmental factors and ship motion.

This video shows a landing conducted by a Prism Defence Test Pilot and Flight Test Engineer during development of Ship Helicopter Operating Limits for the Lynx Mark 90B helicopter onboard the KNUD RASMUSSEN class Offshore Patrol Vessel.

ok, so the boat doesn't have any stabilizers then?
you, like cruise ships have for example?

I cannot find any stabilizer specifications for the Knud Rasmussen Offshore patrol boat.
