weather and mac
« on: May 29, 2006, 12:17:32 PM »
If anybody has a Mac instead of a PC, there is a small dashboard widget called "Aviation Weather" that gives real time info (METAR TAF & LONGTAF) of a lot of airports, up to four together.  :)
You can download it from apple's homepage.
I give that landing a 9 . . . on the Richter scale.

We have METAR's, which are updated every hour, and TAF's, which are good for 24 hours and are issued every 6 hours.
