Here's the proof again:

Women require time and money   (women = time x money)

Time IS money  (time = money --->  women = money x money --> women = money^2)

Money is the ROOT of all evil  (money = sqrt(evil)  (that's square root))

From that we get  women = money ^2 = sqrt(evil)^2  --->  women = evil

To further this, I quote from the movie Paint your Wagon. DOn't judge me for I watch, but these two scenes just stick out! :D

"You can't buy a women for money"
Re "you just try getting one without it!"

Pardner  "Ben do you feel like you need a drink?"
Ben       "How did you know?"
Pardner  "Because I need one too."
Ben       "And it takes a woman to do it. Bless their hearts!"

Ha Ha!  I thought I was the only one to remember that movie!  "Paint Your Wagon" starring Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin married to the same woman as a musical.   :o

But I believe the conversation was:

Pardner  "Ben do you get the feeling you need a drink?"
Ben       "How did you know?"
Pardner  "Because I need one too."
Ben       "Since when do you drink?"
Pardner  "Oh...Since right about now"
Ben       "And it takes a woman to do it. Bless their hearts!"

Three reasons, we're good looking, we got money, and we're well-------never mind!   (Damn, I got suckered into admitting it again)

This money you speak of...may I have some that I can complete the trifecta? (whatever that third aspect is)

I think the personalities really play the important parts in a relationship. I want/love to fly. The now ex didn't even remotely understand it. Her passion is based (it seems) on being a corporate whore whose only goal is to rake in as much money as possible durring her life and do nothing exciting with it. Between work and sleep she never did anything. Incredibly frustrating for someone who doesn't like sitting around watching TV, plotting the next move to promotion. Just wasn't going to work from day one and I knew it. Lessons learned. Next girlfriend/relationship, she's gotta fly or at least like getting airborn.

It is pretty hard to exist alongside someone, if that person doesn't at least understand how important flying is to you.  Even when they do, it can be tough when the job requires you to be gone so much of the time.    :-\

And, help me out on this if I am wrong, I think there are some people who simply do NOT understand why we love to fly, and it's really not worth trying to explain such an important, yet difficult to pin down, subject to someone who just isn't going to "get it".  I know a few people to whom I just don't mention flying -- it works out easier that way, and is much less frustrating, overall.

Am I the only one who has difficulty in this area?  Just curious!

No I understand mom....

And as hard as it is for you to explain flying to the opposite sex, try explaining the thrill of watching dots move on a screen to a girl.  Usually doesn't work out well.  Tower is a little easier to explain, but still tough.  I however have pretty much just given up in this aspect of life for the time being, with recent set backs and blunders the whole dating scene for this controller is looking pretty bleak.

At least I am not alone.   ;)

I laughed about the "moving dots" --- that is COOL STUFF, if you ask me!!  But yes, I can see where it could be tough to get across.

As for "setbacks and blunders", ohmygoodness, I am sure I could outscore anyone in the forum as to what NOT to do!!   ;D   ;D   ;D   ;D

There IS actually a picture of me under "hopeless" in the dictionary!!   ::rofl::  But, since I'm just a dumb PieLutt, it doesn't even bother me.    ::whistle::

Well, any joking aside, I think we all can hit some rough patches.  It DOES get better, and besides, you're in a good spot, with a good future ahead of you, AND you have a great sense of humor!!

That is more than most people.   :)

Keep smiling!!   ;)

Thats what I keep telling myself it seems so futile though at times.  However I'm almost at the end of this period of life, and about to begin a new one, so hopefully things will change.

One thing that we can always count on IS change.  I know it sounds so stupid and corny, but things DO get better.  They get much better!!!!    ;D

I can vouch for that personally, though I'll avoid the gory details because I doubt anyone who appreciates ChickenWings is the same kind of person who would get off on the latest chapter of "As The Stomach Turns".   HA!

Life is good, and we have a lot of good fortune to go along with the rocks on the runways.   ;)
