::unbelieveable:: ::eek:: holy heck, I think I would've had a heart-attack if I'd watched that live. Was that just luck or also skill/experience that he made it?

Stalling at +-90 degree bank angle, 30 feets above ground. I don't think you can do it without both luck and skill.

When I started flying, someone told me "you start with a empty bag of experience and a bag of luck which you don't know how much is in. You want to fill that experience bag before the luck bag is empty". I guess Matt Hall just find out there was left overs in his bag of luck.

Me thinks the cockpit and his flightsuit may need some cleaning after that one.

He scraped the surface of the water with BOTH wingtips, the tailwheel AND the right main!  Still managed to survive.  That's not skill, that's just dumb luck.

Go have a few cold Crownies Matt.  Maybe a few cold cases of Crownies.  I think you earned 'em.   ::drinking:: ::drinking:: ::drinking:: ::drinking:: ::drinking:: ::drinking::
