Hehe, I thought I'd write a nice recipe but this site quite covers it all:
Make a Vodka Watermelon

Now to sit around until watermelon season comes..
I think I'll try it with rum instead and name it "Daquiri watermelon"

It's starting to get really hot round here!

na... I won't stay there waiting for watermelon season, I'll simply drink my vodka "on the rocks" until watermelon are ready.

But the idea look's good.

I actually have a Dulcinea Melon (one of those mini seedless melons) in my refrigerator, but I am saving it to eat with my kids.

The instructions say you need to give the Vodka at least a day to absorb into the Melon.  That's way too long for me!  Methinks I'll just drink my vodka from a glass and eat the watermelon in between shots.  Hehe.   ::drinking:: ::drinking:: ::drinking::

Yup! They forgot to put that little detail in the site:

-Get TWO bottles of vodka. One for the actual recipe and one for the wait time!

I am with you on that. Although the recipe seems really good, I think I might actually try it sometime round me birthday (Aug 26th) for a party snack :)
