Bruce: Wow, what a list!  |:)\
I actually saw a GAF Nomad at a danish airport a few years ago which seemed to be a rare occasion since it doesn't seem to be known much on this part of the planet, except as the aircraft star of the tv-series "Flying Doctors" which was/is quite popular here in Scandinavia.

Gibbo: Good on'ya mate! Keep on racking up those hours and flown planes |:)\

30 minutes on C172
about an hour on a Piper Cherokee
and 30 minutes on a Savannah (ultralight)
I think it's pretty good for a 16 year old kid.

about an hour on a Piper Cherokee
Oh, I will never forget flying Pipers.  The small pilot side windows leak in the rain and then flying for hours in a wet seat that my blue jeans simply soaked up.

My first flight was a normal checkout ride.  Fly plane, practice stalls and recoveries and remember where the heck the airport is.  Due to cloud cover, flew up to 7,000 feet and initiated an approach stall.
Slowed way down and pulled back on yoke.  Suddenly there was this THUNK from the right wing.  I was muttering THUNK??? and turning to look out the right window when suddenly my world turned upside down.   ::knockedout:: ::silly:: ::eek::
The Piper had automatic deployment landing gear just in case you forgot.
In my case, the checkout CFI "forgot" to tell me about it.
So, here I was at 7,000 feet, upside down and going down when the "THUNK" was heard this time from the left wing.

After I executed a graceful recovery, the CFI was laughing his head off and mentioning the stall warning device.
He will never know how close he was to exiting the aircraft through the small 4 inch square hole in the pilots window.

Here's my latest ride I am getting a Checkout in.  A Pilatus Porter, A.K.A. the PC6.  Gonna be doing a little bush flying with both it and a PC12 for the next couple months.  Please no smart remarks about the paint job.  I didn't select it, I just fly it.  ::whistle:: ::whistle:: ::whistle::

all i can say R/C is SWEETTTTT!!!! had  model one of them and it flew like a dream one of my best flyers ever.........until the sides split open after a heavy landing on a frozen farmers field, ended up rebuilding it with a slight kink in it i never saw, ended up in the fire pit after the first couple of oops's and s***'s after crashing again after a few seconds in the air and the local MAAIB (Model Air Accident investigation Branch) having a look at it ::banghead:: ::banghead::

Older topic but a fun one.  As some of you know, I am not a pilot, just a certified aviation nut, first finances and now health keep me out of the loop.  But here are a few I have had the honor of jiggling the yoke on in my years.

C-150...about 150lbs ago.  dang thing would stall now if I could even squeeze in it.
C-172
C-206
Mooney...Not sure which one, long long long time ago.
C-130E  Only for a few minutes but very enjoyable.
B-17G  For two glorious hours...I can now die happy.
C-47
