(was a little rusty at first getting back into FW, not so much the landings but the radios and procedures actually.... not having needed a runway in 10 years  ;))

I'm going to get my SEP back this year, my problem last year when I went flying once, was that I have to force myself not to start the flare latest at 40ft as compared when at work  >:D

Man, this gotta be my favorite thread in the whole forum!  ::wave::

Thank you guys so much for keeping it alive!  ::bow:: ::bow::

I love to see an A-340 and then an Adventurer right next to eachother!

awesome!

Since this started out more as a list and inititally didn't have that many pictures, how would you feel about a new thread called "post a pic of your ride" or something ??

Sounds good, Mikey!  I'll dig up some old pics from my Twin Cessna days to post, as well as some Citation and PC-12 pics.  I'm sure I can repost some like the Great Lakes I ferried a couple years ago too.  Lets do it!   ;D

I'm agree.

That sentence made me look at my flying picture on my computer. I have so many good memories comming back. Airplane trips I didn't remember of comming back...

The guy is my uncle. He just turned 70 and never went in an airplane. I'm flying a C172 to his farm. I told him: "Jacques, you want to try it?" Without a word, he took control, I never had to explained a thing. The turns were coordinated, attitude was fine! He was flying the thing like I never had.

I took control when we were final because I didn't trust him to do the landing. Today, looking at the picutres, I think uncle Jacques would have done better then me on the landing.

Here is mine:

Cessna 172
Bratz CB-1 (look it up- NX24B)

I was not pilot in command on any of these. Does that count?

of course! we didn't ask "what have you piloted as PIC so far?"  ;D ;)

A "Bratz", huh?!
I think it's a biplane but what exactly is it? homebuilt?

I don't have a flying license, but thanks to friends or university promotions (i.e. last year I was able to do 3 glider flights in a day, and in each of them I was in command under the supervision of an instructor, for 50 € due to a collaboration between my university and a flying club), I put my hands on the controls of these:
Cessna C172 (actually, the French license-built version Reims F172)
Piper PA-28 Cadet
Grob G-103 glider
Scheibe SF-25C Falke motor glider

The next one will be a float-equipped Piper PA-18 Super Cub, since my friends gave me as a birthday present a seaplane ride where I'll be in command, obviously with an instructor ;)
However, I'll have to wait until spring, because in my zone we have a VERY foggy winter (the fog is light when I can see the house on the other side of the road... and I'm not exaggerating :( )

(I actutally soloed 3 times, glider in Europe, then fixed wing in the States, then helicopter)
You know what they say . . . you never forget your first one!  ;D
