Err, sorry about that, been at the airport assembling my aeroplane....

the Winner is Spacer with:
Real Planes of Genius:
Dubbed the Flying Featherduster, backyard engineers took a 'many short rotors' approach to creating a PBY-derived gyroplane.
Thankfully, it never flew.

lots of other good entries though.
In reality the tree is not growing out of the Cat, just a bit of creative framing. the Aircraft is at the Classic Flyers Museum, Tauranga New Zealand and is slowly being restored for static display.
