Questions about starting down the road towards CPL

After getting the proper sunglasses and the biggest watch this side of a hubcap off of a big rig then the most important things when wanting to become a pilot has to be to find out where to get the licenses, and of course how to get the money. In my case there are also a few other questions, namely where to stay and how to get to/from the airport where I'll be studying.

I've read some posts sites about how danish pilots got money for their education and what I basically read was that people mainly loaned from a bank that required at least 1/3rd if not more, up front and people either had another big job where they earned that over some time while others loaned money from their family. Now as some here know then I have almost no family left, and no-one that has any extra money at all and there's no job I'm qualified for that can earn me several hundred thousand crowns in less than 10 years. And earlier this year I was denied a loan for just over 10K USD for a used car so a loan many times that to become a pilot with the aviation industry being so unstable seems to be totally out of the question. And furthermore I think they'd prefer the education was in Denmark and with the prices here that's also out of the question. A year or two ago I got a figure of 16-20K USD for a CPL in USA, 20K USD wouldn't even buy a PPL in DK and the closest place to me where I can get more than a PPL is Billund Airport (EKBI) and that's a 60 mile drive each way.

Ah sorry, I guess I didn't quite focus enough. What I was planning on asking in this thread was for specific recommendations for where to get my CPL, and what places I can try and research from here to get an idea on where to live and what it all would cost so I could get an idea on the ballpark figure I need to get.

Sorry if this is a bit vaguely written but a few hours after I posted this my mom could barely be woken up and had heavy pains in her head so she's now again back at the hospital. she was there quickly yesterday but that time she didn't have such pain and was back in a few hours, obviously that won't be acceptable this time and I'm waiting for a call from my brother about what's going on with our mom.

I guess I shoudl try every place I can to get a loan huh, although of course I need to do my research first. It does look like a plain CPL is best to start with and then to get a job, then later I can get aerobatics training to further train my abilities and then later perhaps I can get a ATP license but no idea if I can get a full-time job with just a CPL.
The bottom line is that I want to to the next level in research, try to home in on what part of USA I should aim at for schooling, find specific cities and then find specific prices on places to stay etc.

Frank, this post shows that you're probably not ready quite yet to start this new adventure. Keep looking for loans and options but you seriously need to get your life back together before you start flying. If you are so distracted with your moms illness and your situation at home, that you can't even concentrate while writing an email, you're just gonna waste a lot of money during your training. Get your physical shape up as well. No aerobatics the way you are right now, that's for sure.

But make sure you are in the right mind set before you take to the skies!!!

As far as where to get your license. Get it wherever you're planning on ending up flying. I know a lot of Austrians who got all their licenses in the US and when they came back, they couldn't get jobs because they did know anybody. It's not only how much you can do in the air, but also who you get to know during your training. You will start making a name for yourself from day one of your flight training. Keep in mind Guardian Helicopters has only hired one guy stright of a resume so far. Everybody else we knew personally and we knew his skills. (by the way, that guy didn't work out for us)
