Spiders!
« on: July 23, 2008, 06:24:12 AM »
OK, I can relate to Chuck on this one.  Not because spiders bug me, but because they seem to love my plane!  I don't think I've ever done a preflight in the summer without finding one of the little buggers somewhere.  Pitot tube, strut, cockpit, cowling, rudder hinge.  You name it.  I once flew a 250 mile cross country looking at a 6' strand of spider silk trailing from one strut the whole way.  Even through a rain shower.  :o  Funniest one was the spider that quickly decended from my strut/wing junction as I shut down after a flight.  I could just hear the little bugger screaming "Let me outta here!!!!"   ::rofl::

Chuck actually shows he is capable of flying an airplane when he is properly motivated!  Hehe.   ::rofl::
