First I want to say that is was as hard as always to pick out just one winner since there were soooo many good lines submitted. We thought this cartoon was a lot harder compared to the previous ones, maybe a reason why we had it laying around for many months with no good lines. But you guys helped out a lot! Thank you. The criteria for us was to come up with something original and new and we have found a winner:


The line we thought was the most original, even though it is very technical was:

if you ask me, that joke wasnt funny at all... there were some good ones out there but this one I don't like.

Hence the reason why he wasn't asked to judge.  They don't use METARs when rcflying?  Go figure...personally I thought it was funny.

before this gets out of hand and we start:

everybody is entitled to his/her opinion but,
we made the contest, we pay for the shirt and the subscription, we decide what we think is funny and original  ;) ;D

But let this be an encouragement rather than critique!

Thanks! And, well, we said at the announcement that "as usual this will be our discreet decision by intransparent and subjective criteria"! We live up to our promises!  ;)  And it's not like we would hand out luxury cruises or Ferraris as prizes, but t-shirts...
