New(Old) Motorcycle Engine

Might anyone know what kind of Engine this is that powers this motorcycle?  How many horsepower, etc?  I've been wondering whether the torque from the engine would tip it on its side if the driver tried to peal-out from a start...  Cool bike, nonetheless!   |:)\ ::bow:: ::drinking::
