Checking out for a few weeks...

Howdy Friends,

Things are gonna be very busy for me in the next few weeks so I will not be posting.  I have given notice at work and I will be going to Simuflite in DFW for the Citation V/II type rating.  I am doing this on my own dime (ouch!   ::eek::) but I am getting a corporate discount through a 135 operator.  After that I will be offering my services as a contract pilot on both the Citation and the PC12 until someone offers me a full time job.

I will check in every now and then, but I will not have much time for anything besides study after March 25.  For those who haven't enjoyed a simulator school, its kinda like getting a drink of water from a fire hose! :o  Once I am done in early April I should be able to post on a more regular basis.

Mike and Steph... keep up the great work! ::bow::  I look forward to the new strips every Tuesday!

And when you get that Citation rating.... My company might be hiring... We've got one Citation 560 (Encore) two 560XL's (Excel) four King air C-90's and a Challenger 604. We might have something that fits you.

This sounds like a good a thread as any...

I guess I'm not so much checking out as checking in, since I haven't had time to talk for a good while anyway.

Very long story short, looks like I'm starting ground school with Pinnacle Airlines (they do some Northwest Airlink and Delta Connection contracts with a HQ in Memphis) Wednesday.   I'll be flying either CRJ-200 or CRJ-900 Regional Jets for them out of  MEM, MSP, DTW, or ATL.

Should be able to check back in around towards the end of April or beginning of May, although might be able to stop by for an update if I get some spare time at various points.
