... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 am EST
Wednesday...

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 10 am EST
Wednesday for the St. Lawrence Valley of New York and north-central
and northeastern Vermont... including the western slopes of the
northern Green Mountains. Through mid- morning Wednesday... storm total
snowfall amounts of 6 to 10 inches... with isolated amounts up to
12 inches... are expected in these areas.

Accumulating snow is developing rapidly this morning from
southwest to northeast across the north country. Look for snow to
continue heavy at times this afternoon... followed by periods of
snow tonight into Wednesday morning.

The highest snowfall amounts with this storm are expected near the
international border. Both the St. Lawrence Valley of New York and
north central and northeast Vermont will see storm total snowfall
amounts ranging from 6 to 10 inches... with isolated amounts up to
12 inches possible.

In addition... as Arctic air moves into the region Wednesday
morning in the wake of the low pressure system... areas of blowing
and drifting snow can be expected as northerly winds gust up to
35 mph.

Travel will likely become difficult today. If you must travel...
allow plenty of extra time to reach your destination. Also... be
sure you have a full tank of gas in your vehicle. Your winter
weather survival kit should be fully stocked and in the trunk or
cargo area of your vehicle.

Ugh.... On top of the almost 2 feet already on the ground...

9 inches so far and still coming down.... Yesterday the ramp at work was so slick that I had to give the emergency engine cut signal to one of our King Airs.... Mains locked up when he tried to stop and even at ground idle and fine pitch she kept on truckin.....  Two Spinning Four Blade props can sure get your attention

Here's the ol' homestead. About a foot and a half of snow! Although the temperature is supposed to rise sharply. It's going to go to above 11c this weekend. Alot of this snow will be going

Just been shovelin in front of garage... geez, in adition to a feet or so of "regular" snow, theer has been a little avalanche from our roof, and we ended up with bout 3-4 feet of snow wall... Right in parkway...
