Well guys,
I wrote Phil just like you suggested with a bunch of questions and also proposing to re-vamp the old and outdated safety-posters. I was suggesting putting a new and fun spin on them just like I told you guys and wanted to see if he has any info or advice for me.
I didn't get a response at all. Not even a Hi or Not Interested.

And I am a member not just a solicitor (we were even thinking of doing this for them for free)
Maybe he just really doesn't like me or Chicken Wings or I am the only guy who never gets a response....
Well that stinks. How long ago did you write him? The AOPA Open House was just held and they're probably all busy getting over that. (If you want to see some TIRED people... visit EAA HQ two weeks after Airventure!)
Maybe what you need is to get to know somebody in the organization and get an inside line as to exactly what they're looking for, how things work, etc.
Another thing would be to get poor slobs like me who are going to Airventure to pester people at the AOPA tent (something I need to do anyway to find out if they're going to use the damned article of mine they accepted for Flight Training last year). I say that but having talked with the names behind the publications of the organization over the years, they're great folks... just swamped.
