Wow, that is a remarkable life.  93 years old!  Good for him.    |:)\

I never knew that he lived in Berlin, Vermont.  My parents were from Barre and Websterville.  A pretty area!

Sheesh Mom.... You are getting closer to me every day...... I live in Berlin Myself, I used to work for Barre Town Ambulance so I know Websterville quite well.

Captain Buck actually lived in N Fayston in the Mad River Valley, apparently he fell at his home and was transported to the hospital in Berlin, where he passed away.

Wow, small world!!  It was a big thrill when we were kids, to go my Grammy's house in Websterville.  (We didn't get out much..)   :D

My grandfather and my dad worked in the granite quarries there...  my dad said the coldest winter mornings were just brutal, when they went down into the humid depths.  Brrr-rrr!!!  I have cousins around there who work in the sheds still.

And -- my sister works right on the Fayston / Waitsfield town line -- it IS a SMALL world for sure!   :D
