Cool!  How's it fly?  It's amazingly small.

Since it's extremely small, it has no batteries but it's charged when you attach it to the R/C via a very small cable. hence FT is quite small, around 10 minutes max. I've not understood clearly how it works out yet, since it has to be trimmed and now it goes wherever he wishes (mainly against doors, walls and furniture) coz I've not trimmed it in the right way yet and looks more like it's in autorotation than straight flight. but into the shop, the man who was playing with it, landed it perfectly on my hands, hence there must be a way!
I will let you know!

Sweet!  do you know the manufacturers name?  I'd like to look for something like that.
Keep us posted on your flying progress.  |:)\

Tundra, I can give you the name of the product, that is littlebee (technology brings you infinite surprise) I do not know if it's enough, but if it is not. let me know  cause I threw the box away but I've one in my baggages, to give to my brother and as soon as I unpack tomorrow when back to switzerland I let you know! :)
My performance aren't bettering the least. looks like straight flight is a mission impossible! :)

I've seen a video of one of those flying before.  I believe I've seen on in stores as well...   it's an interesting one.

this small RC to flight is real fun, even if, to tell the truth he still does what he wishes and not what he is told about! My cat was impressed and tried in every possible way to catch him, until she realized she was as scared of him as she is scared of the vacuum! :)
And well, I still remember as it were yesterday when I flew by helicopter over NY. I had the chance to be seated beside the CPT. and oh, I never exclude that one day, as soon as my money starts growing again, I will try to get the license....

I keep telling you guys, helicopter pilots are in demand everywhere!
And you know what that means, right?!  ;)
Bigger salaries!! Check out "justhelicopters.com" and click on the employment section.
The salaries offered start with twice of what a commuter pilot makes. Even CFI compensation has picked up tremendously . . .

But how easy is it for an entry level pilot?

Uh-oh! No you've gone and done it Jim! You said the bad word! Mike and Jane (and Lucy and co.) are probably going to come for you guns blazing :D

I do think the job pays a lot at least partly since it's a lot harder to fly a helicopter (just look at some of the videos posted here, the dude with the small helicopter trying to learn to fly directly from the airport parking and then crashing after doing a flight-of-the-bumblebees routine, and the Robinson taking off into the hangar-roof, and the take-off on the rolling ship that nearly cost the life of one of the crew-members on the deck that almost got a piece a tail he didn't want! :D ).

I mean, I really like you, Gman, and others..........but "chopper" pilots can be such...........ahhhhh.........sluts ;) ;D

"Sluts" --- us, never, we're too cute for that.... Having said that....... A Helicopter pilot walks into a bar and takes a seat next to a very attractive woman. He gives her a quick glance then casually looks at his watch for a moment.
The woman notices this and asks, "Is your date running late?"
"No," he replies, "I just got this state-of-the-art watch, and I was just testing it."
The intrigued woman says, "A state-of-the-art watch? What's so special about it?"
The Helicopter pilot explains, "It uses alpha waves to talk to me telepathically."
The lady says, "What's it telling you now?"
"Well, it says you're not wearing any panties...."
"The woman giggles and replies, "Well it must be broken because I am wearing panties!"
The Helicopter pilot smirks, taps his watch and says, "Damn thing's an hour fast."

As for the 7 letter word, 6 is about our limit...............

YEAH, I only use "THAT" word to kid Mike and other helicopter pilots----They need to get their shorts bunched up once in a while.

Fact is though, I'm just jealous because the helicopter is so versatile that they get to work more than I do and more work equals more fun and more money------THE DIRTY RATS HAVE MORE FUN AND MONEY THEN I DO  ::complaining:

Flying helicopters is for guys who really enjoy being in the air but have no real place to go!

Well I figured I would at least try to be nice---unlike "Pierre".....

Pierre..The French helicopter Pilot

Pierre, a brave French helicopter pilot, takes his girlfriend, Marie, out for a pleasant little picnic by the River Seine. It's a beautiful day and love is in the air. Marie leans over to Pierre and says:

"Pierre, kiss me."

Our hero grabs a bottle of Merlot and splashes it on Marie's lips. "What are you doing, Pierre?" says the startled Marie.

"I am Pierre the helicopter pilot. When I have red meat, I like to have red wine!"

She smiles and they start kissing. When things began to heat up a little, Marie says, "Pierre, kiss me lower."

Our hero tears her blouse open, grabs a bottle of Chardonnay and starts pouring it all over her chest.

"Pierre, what are you doing?" asks the bewildered Marie.

"I am Pierre the helicopter pilot, and when I have white meat, I like to have white wine."

They resume their passionate interlude and things really steam up. Marie leans close to his ear and whispers,

"Pierre, kiss me lower."

Our hero rips off her underwear, grabs a bottle of Cognac and pours it in her lap. He strikes a match and lights the Cognac on fire. Marie shrieks and dives into the river. Standing waist deep, Marie throws her arms upwards and screams furiously,
"PIERRE, WHAT IN THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU DOING?!"

Our hero stands up, defiantly, and says,

"I am Pierre the helicopter pilot, and when I go down, I go down in flames!"

Scary issues hey?!?
Long, long ago....  in a place far away....

I worked with a guy who wanted to torment a woman on our woods crew...  she didn't have much of a sense of humor... okay, okay, she had NO sense of humor.    ::sulk::

He snuck off in the woods before lunch, circled back to our truck while we were working, got into her PG bag, found her leopard-skin-print one-piece swimsuit, ran up the road, stripped to his Whites workboots, SOMEHOW squirmed into the about-to-burst suit, then sassily sashayed down the middle of the road as we all sat down in the dirt to eat lunch.

WOW.  What a reaction!  Screaming, yelling, hooting, hawing, uncontrollable laughter...  and some of us ended up passing peanut-butter sandwiches through our noses, we were laughing so hard......

Ya GOTTA have a sense of humor.............  whether your butt looks sexy in pantyhose, or NOT.   ::whistle::

(Talk about an image being burned into one's retina...  I can still see that guy as plain as day, right now.  Now THAT's scary.)

there's lot of things like that out there, they dont cost alot,30-50 bucks, and they fly for 10 minutes, recharge time is between 20-30 minutes, uses infrared, most of the times there 2 channels so you and your friend could fly two helicopters without disturbing each other signal, the weight about 10 grams, and the shell made from foam,so its easy to made a new one,i found an apache picco z,a cool toy...

Well, it did not have a nice landing, by the end. My cat was scared to death and I was still trying to fly it at least to the heading I wished....one evening, the silly cat, jumped on it. yes, it's stirofoam: and since it was not scaring anymore, fragile and motionless,  I'd dare say was taken away as a mouse. even though it's not destroyed, it isn't for sure aerodynamic anymore :( :(

I had bought it in London at Harrod's (toy section, somewhere on the 3rd floor??? that place is a maze....). BTW I see it everyday more often in almost every toy shop around switzerland and italy so maybe you will not have any problem in finding one where you live.... :) :)
