RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, March 12 A man who accidentally built his house on the wrong plot of land in Saudi Arabia has been allowed by the landowner to keep the home.
The man, who spent nearly $270,000 building the home, discovered while arranging for electricity to be installed in the house that he had mistakenly built his home on a plot of land belonging to another local man, the Arab News reported Monday.
The second man initially refused to swap plots -- even when offered $27,000 in compensation -- and demanded that the trespassing house be torn down.
However, the landowner agreed to the exchange after seeing the completed house, the Arab News said.

That happened in a local subdivision about ten years ago. It was the builder that made the mistake. I'll bet he was embaressed! Anyway, this one worked out OK too!
