To kick off Hockey Day in Minnesota, the Lake of the Woods Bears are going up against St. Paul Johnson on January 20th. Check out the propaganda.

Now, Minnesota IS the state of hockey. It just so happens the best college team is in ND, but there are some very, very good high school teams in MN. Roseau and Warroad play like college teams (it helps that Polaris and Marvin "recruit", though).
I love nothing more than watching the Rodents lose, especially to the Sioux, but it is pretty cool that Baudette gets to be on the same stage as the Gophers and the Wild on FSN North. It'll help our little burg out quite a bit.

My blood pressure still immediately ratchets up about 30 points if I hear the theme from "Hockey Night in Canada"!!!! ::bow::

I crack up every time, we are the most hated college team right now, between the whole Fighting Sioux debate, and the fact we kill just about anyone we play.

Best hockey game ever was when Holy Cross beat the Rodents at the U of M. >:D
