Im all for it. Hopefully this will be the spark the industry needs to be kicked off. One reason I think, and has been the topic of debate in a few of my econ classes, is that airliners and auto companies are hesistant to switch to alternative fuels is because oil companies control stock. With the government leading the way, there is no controling share holders to say no.

Sounds like a good idea. Let's just hope the government continues investing in it. They spent 5 billion on fuel so lets hope they don't mind spending that on testing. Great article though Fank.
