Added to post-landing checklist for this flight: Check Shorts.
Must be great to be a military pilot---If we screw the pooch, we are looking for a new job----they just get more training when they do. |:)\

I dunno about that..... one of my company's Pilots has the nickname of "Blowout". He has had 2 blowouts on our Citation Excel. He's still flying for us, but all he's munched are some tires and wheels. Then there's the Kedric who is called the "Penetrator" hung on him for his knack of flying into the heaviest turbulence in our Challenger ;D

That looked horriffic but a relatively good end since to my knowlege that could've easily gone horribly wrong correct? And could one could that a half ground loop or have I gotten my terms mixed up?

I believe that would be a ground loop, there, Frank.

Ah nice to have my memory work right for a change, thanks for the help. Maybe Stef and Mike could make a illustrated Aviation Dictionairy for Chickens with Chuck as ahem demonstrator :D
How is the safety record for the Super Hornet btw? We don't get much news of them over here, especially not when I don't really watch tv at all anymore (bad news is sad and I can check the weather before a drive online much better).
