I found the easiest way to reduce the size was to change the amount of pixels.  Doesn't really mess with the quality and you can make them a lot smaller

Alaska Dept of Forestry has a couple of those that they use for air attack platform--they had to add underwing tanks to give them longer legs but seem pleased with the performance.
I'd love to fly one but forestry here has the twin engine high wing requirement in all their contracts---although I'd rather depend on a single turboprop rather then a pair of recips. :-\

Hope you get a chance to fly them someday!!!!!!!
I went once flying in the P3 (the silver/orange one....that one would pass as a Hans' expression!!!) with a former instructor (and as I see the n-number i can say it was the one portrayied in the picture!). even if it's one of the oldest model, I can still say that it was an unforgettable flight. anyhow, if you're interested, you can give a glance to http://www.pilatus-aircraft.com/

Thank you very much for the pictures. About the size, you can rescale pictures using a graphics-program like PhotoShop or Paint Shop Pro. I wonder if the forum software can't be set not to display pictures in the thread directly but allow you to download them manually and view them on your own computer instead since the pictures are great and I'm glad to see them in full res :)

It's a pleasure to share them. Before posting them in the forum I changed the pixel resolution, but it seems that it doesn't change the size of the image but just makes it easier to charge. I will have to learn all the wizard's things related to the use of photoshop, since I hate to find that there is something I'm uncapable of doing when, at least for my age, I should not be beaten by a computer........ :)

PS. I discovered I was just changing the format....but I was not applying the new pixel measure! Poor me!!  :)

You really like that plane huh? Most of the pictures seems to be the same model :D

What's that formation called btw, and what team is that?

Uh oh! For any information alike I will have to ask steep or manupiper, since I just know that the team was the PC7 team. And no, it's not the fact I really liked that plane or what the team was doing. the point is that even if the airshow was not over, I escaped back home. I was quite shattered running into my former boyfriend.....even if a year has passed, I never feel easy when I meet him :'( :'(
