Title: Properly filed inspection plates. kee
Post by: YawningMan on April 08, 2011, 03:52:14 PM
Yep, this is the point I'm at in my schooling. I'm taking structures, and I'm becoming very intimate with files and sheet metal.
I keep being a little too zealous, and have already had to take grade reductions for filing too much off of my sheet! This part of being a mechanic is going to take me quite a bit of practice to get good at.

brings back memories of college/uni, had to file and saw blocks of metal into various things in the morning then go up to the hangers and do patch repairs on mock up of wings or on sheet metal with rivets.

That story was a bit of a grind, but the conclusion was riveting! ::)
