Wow, that's a nice cockpit pic. BTW, is the angle of attack indicator something used to avoid stall, or it has nothing to do with it? in that case, what is it for?
You see, I usually fly planes which speed is much less, at your maneuvering speed I would be already be....say....wingless.......

Angel of attack is something fixedwingish. We rotorheads have a lot more angels. We need them, really. ;D

Which water? I don’t see any. Only condensed water. Airborne fog.

I wouldn't say your over the weather.  Your just high enough to find a place of less weather.  But that is just my opinion.  Great pics.

Great pictures, really cool views (lol at the airborne fog comment). My mom also told me that when she got that trip to USA and flew in a 747 over the atlantic and over the clouds it was simply breathtakingly beautiful, and that there was a lot of water between the two continents lol.

this one goes under things ive seen;
unfortunatly she had multiple fuel pump failures and had to make a forced landing on to the field on her madien flight, thankfully the guy flying it was able to make the runway (just) and dammage was minimal. kudos to him that thing was doing test runs at 80 kts and was showing no signs of lifting off

When I flew out of Kenai, the C-46s were parked right next to the flight club I was flying with.  This was a common sight from the cockpit:

We'd also get a lot of C-130s....let me tell you about learning to avoid wake turbulence :)

Here's one of me in my Antares Ultralight.  A few years back, I sold it shortly before buying the tundra toy.

Ultralights.... <shudder>

Sorry, just not a big fan of kites that you ride in.  ;)

Which is ironic, when you consider that the first airplanes were just that...

I know I'm predjudace...

That how it's set up inside.... The couple that owns it flies it all over the US.... As of this evening it was still parked at the FBO.

Wow, I never knew anyone actually had done that. It reminds me of a fictional MSFS plane that was a flying camper with animated door and modelled interior like a camper. That's really one cool RV  8) |:)\

I still enjoy the memories of my 1½ hour Cardinal flight over northern Fyn (the round island in the middle of Denmark), we both saw the southern part of the city, the freeway across DK and a protected area not accessible by car in the northern top of the island and then back over the fields and farm-land to the tower where we made a low fly-by and waved at our friend in the tower, and saw the landing lights, and of course the pilot did one little stunt, he pulled up hard after the tower, which initially made me wonder how the heck my eyes were looking into my stomach, at least the levelling out was a bit less stressfull, and I never did get motion-sick, or had fear of heights even looking out the window across the thin doors, I guess it's all a matter of how secure it feels if I get scared of heights. Sadly I haven't got one single picture of it, nor of me and the Cardinal, but it was nice, also the 15 minutes I controlled it thrue some mild turns :D Ah, what a nice machine that 74 Cardinal is, retractable gear and 3-bladed propeller and all |:)\

Edit: Noooo, it's gone! I just wanted to find a picture from their site and it's gone. They got a old 160hp Skylane instead (even though they called it a "new" C177, then anyone will notice the roof-line, door-shape and wing-braces and be able to tell that's not a Cardinal, plus both the new one, and OY-BIL were french-made and they're designated F177 and not C177)!
At least Airliners.net had 4 pictures of it, here's o good one: http://www.airliners.net/open.file/0369295/L/

I probably have told this story before, but since it was a while ago and I wanted to get back on topic I allowed myself to write it again.

You can order a Caravan setup as an RV when it's delivered to you.  ;)

Not sure if Cessna does it at their factory or sends it somewhere (most  likely the latter).

Beautiful view, just a shame that this forum can't have the pictures open as seperate links instead of automatically open in the thread. I personally don't mind the size of the pictures but it can stretch the forum out of shape, and slower internet connections can get into trouble.

Thanks for sharing :)

Ah now I can see what it is, over the nose of the plane in flight, barely. You're quite low there aren't you? Great picture still.
