Title: All hail the boob tube!

Yeah, I know this feeling all too well. I never watched my TV. My poison was video games. The effect was exactly the same, though. I finally got rid of all of my video games, but I still have my TV. Now, it stands as a black monolith standing blankly in remembrance of a by-gone era.
It's a nice little LCD TV, so I intend to use it as a computer monitor once I get a place to set up my computer again.

I still watch way too much TV, because I like to have it on while I'm drawing. I prefer to watch documentaires, discussions and news though, because then I don't actually have to "watch". I can listen to it while stilll concentrating on the drawing. When there's a movie on (especially with little dialogue) my productivity is reduced by 50%. I never bought myself a game console and have only one computer game installed, because when you're playing, productivity sinks to exactly zero! And also I usually totally lose track of time. So I know the risk for myself there...
