Man, I can relate to this one! Call me a coward, but I always died a thousand deaths before all of my checkrides. It didn't matter how many times I said to myself, "I am superior to ANY test!" I always get the butterflies every time. Its even worse today because the stakes are higher.
These days I just say to myself, "Ah no Biggie... its just your entire life and career on the line." Still doesn't help settle the butterflies. ::sweat:: Now where is my Rambo gun so I can face that examiner like he really is the enemy?!?!? ::rambo::

one of the advantages I had lately is that we only have one rotor-guy at our FSDO right now and he kinda knows less than me about helicopters and kinda ran out of things to ask me about..... ;D there are only so many questions you can ask I guess........
But I am sure I'll be nervous all over again next time I have to do one with a new guy or FSDO...... ::sick::
